My new series is set in the fictional town of Angel's Bay, which is located along the central coast of California in an area known for its spectacular and wild coastline. The town was created when the Gabriella, a ship leaving the San Francisco Gold Rush weighted down with gold and passengers, wrecked off the coast in 1850.

Twenty-four people survived the wreck, and the survivors settled near the bay where some of their loved ones had perished. The town was named Angel's Bay in honor of those who had lost their lives.

After the wreck rumors abounded as to what had transpired aboard the ship with contradicting stories of both heroism and murder. Those legends continue to be passed down today, especially tales of angels and other spirits haunting the bay.

The shipwreck itself has never been discovered and many believe that the ship sank into one of the cavernous canyons under the sea that are known to be present off the central coast.

In addition to legends, Angel's Bay is also known for its infamous quilts. The tradition began after the wreck when the twenty-four survivors, led by Rosalyn Murray, made a story quilt with each square telling their personal story. The Murrays have continued to honor the quilting tradition and the Angel Heart Quilt Shop is known worldwide for its quilt designs. The quilting plays a prominent role in many of the books, not just for the craft itself, but for the community the tradition of quilting fosters in Angel's Bay

In Angel's Bay, you'll be meeting new characters in every book. Each book features a completely new central story while secondary storylines will continue.  You can read the books in any order, because each book will be a complete story, but I hope you'll start with the first one, SUDDENLY ONE SUMMER.

Check back here for more information on the characters and other sneak peeks into life in Angel's Bay!   I can't wait to introduce you to Jenna and Reid who are featured in the first story as well as some of the other fascinating people who populate the town.
